Wembanyama is amazing at shooting. He's tall so he can assist, rebound, and block. I really don't know about the steals, but I think he'll be better as the years go by.

He’s logging 1.3 SPG in just 28.5 MPG. So that could go up. But quadrupling that rate regularly will be rare.

I’ve seen him swipe a few passes that make you do a double-take. He’s guarding the ball at what seems to be a safe distance for the offense. His opponent makes a routine pass over or around him and he just sticks out his go-go-gadget glove and snags it.

That's interesting. I rarely, if ever, think of that stat. But it makes a lot of sense that it would be rare. 5 of something doesn't sound like that much, at first glance, but there's something so refreshing about it. The mainstream sports scene has been set up in a way where that kind of stat sorta kinda gets buried under the rug, and as a result even a player like Anthony Davis gets disrespected because of it. I'm guilty of being annoyed by AD, his durability can be problematic, but zooming out, yeah, he's a potential 5 x 5 guy moving forward 4 sure.

Crazy, right? Though he did play 51 minutes that game. Talented guy who could break out randomly. Another time had a 19-11-23 game.

First thought was Derrick White...but any of the five current Celtic starters could complete the 5x5

Good call. White's such a great shot blocker for a guard. Has 30 career games (counting the postseason) with 3 or more blocks.
